Cornelius J. Guiney, MAI, CTA
Principal

Mr. Guiney began his real estate career in 1968.  He maintains full time appraisal licenses in over 35 states.  Mr. Guiney has a diverse background in real estate that includes valuation services for the purpose of sales, mergers, acquisitions, financings, investor reporting, and tax related matters, both locally and nationally.  He is a recognized expert in eminent domain and property tax matters, having testified extensively on both subjects.  In addition to valuation services, Mr. Guiney is the President of the Guiney Guenther Group, Inc., where he serves as the Broker of Record.

John E. Echkoff
Commercial Managing Director

Mr. Echkoff is a senior commercial appraisal analyst for GVS.  His valuation experience includes the valuation of income-producing real estate throughout the state of New Jersey .  Mr. Eckhoff has also provided valuation services in Georgia , Florida , Indiana , Maryland and Ohio .  He has extensive experience in the valuation of multi-family and self-storage facilities, both locally and nationally.  Mr. Echkoff is a senior candidate for the MAI designation of the Appraisal Institute.  In addition to the above valuation services, he serves as adjunct residential reviewer for the firm. 


Megan E. Guiney
Senior Associate

Ms. Guiney graduated from Boston College with a degree in finance and went on to obtain a master degree in Urban Real Estate & Land Economics and an MBA degree from the University of Wisconsin .  She worked for S&P and Duff & Phelps on major national appraisal assignments before joining GVS.  Ms. Guiney has extensive experience in all aspects of valuation services, and is a senior candidate for the MAI designation of the Appraisal Institute.


Bruce W. Guenther
Executive Director

Mr. Guenther has been in the appraisal profession over 20 years and along with Cornelius Guiney, provides day-to-day executive leadership for GVS. Specializing in the valuation of proposed residential and commercial development, Mr. Guenther provides credible valuation services and feasibility studies for new development, as well as for a wide variety of existing property types. An Associate Member of the Appraisal Institute working towards the MAI Designation, he also has extensive background in commercial real estate brokerage, providing a solid foundation and understanding of real estate transactions upon which GVS services are based.

Damien J. Isabella
Associate

Mr. Isabella has over four years of real estate experience in development and investment banking.  His prior experience includes over two years with Brown, Gibbons, Lang & Co. and Whiteco Industries, Inc.  Mr. Isabella graduated from Fordham University , where he received his B.S. in Finance and Economics. He is currently pursuing his Masters in International Real Estate Development and Finance from New York University .

Mr. Isabella assists principals and senior consultants in providing client services.  He also provides assistance in preparing investment strategies, which includes portfolio and development modeling, valuing investment and partnership structures, and preparing due diligence reports.
Susan J. Donnelly
Residential Managing Director

Ms. Donnelly joined GVS in 1984 and her responsibilities include managing the full range residential appraisal operations for GVS including review, training, product consistency, and quality control.  She has extensive experience in residential valuation services throughout the state of New Jersey , including litigation work. Ms. Donnelly also has experience with high-end residential and small income producing properties. 

Geraldine C.  Sepka
Senior Associate

Ms. Sepka joined GVS in 2001.  She is a licensed residential appraiser and her experience includes the valuation of single family, multi family and small income producing properties. Ms. Sepka also has an extensive background in data collection and analysis for commercial properties. 

Jason Robbie
Associate

Mr. Robbie joined GVS in 2004.  He has a business degree from the University of Colorado and an extensive background in IT.  Mr. Robbie has been active in the development of adaptive valuation technologies including automated valuation models (AVMs) and statistical analysis.
